Alive by the Bay: Bay Shore's Summer Music Lineup and 2026 Schedule

A few Tuesdays each summer, downtown Bay Shore trades its evening quiet for live music and a street full of neighbors. Alive by the Bay is Bay Shore's premier summer festival series, and it has been bringing Main Street to life since 2017.

What it is

Four stages of live music spread across downtown Bay Shore, plus food and drink from local restaurants, vendors, and family-friendly fun. Music kicks off at 6 PM. It is put on by the Bay Shore Restaurant Committee together with the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Bay Shore, and it is one of the easiest ways to spend a summer evening on the South Shore.

• Third Avenue Stage: The Warped Tour Band

Tuesday, August 11 (Summer Finale)

• Third Avenue Stage: Lovesong (tribute to new wave and classic alternative)
• Fourth Avenue Stage: Paris Ray and the Crush
• Boulton Center Stage: One Step Ahead
• West End Stage: Southbound

A few neighborly tips

• It is a street festival, so come hungry and plan to walk Main Street between the four stages.
• The music starts at 6 PM. Come early to grab dinner from a local spot first.
• Bring a little cash for the food and the vendors.
• It is free to stroll, and easy to make a whole evening of it.
