This Weekend's Top Picks in Babylon: Fall Harvest Festival at Babylon Village (Saturday 12:00PM).
Babylon Village hands its main stretch over to fall for the afternoon. Local restaurants, cafes and bakeries set out their specialties alongside fall-themed plates, two stages run live entertainment all day, and there are rides, games, prizes and inflatables plus a new kids zone to work through. Swing by the Conklin House while you're there. The chamber hasn't posted a rain plan, so if Saturday morning looks unsure, glance at their page before you head out.

Around the Community in Babylon this weekend: Suffolk County Marathon weekend: road closure and cheer spots at Babylon; The Great Give Back 2026 at West Babylon.
The Catholic Health Suffolk County Marathon, half and 10K start Sunday, October 18, at 7:30 AM from the Babylon train station (Deer Park Ave and Railroad Ave) and finish at Gardiner County Park. The Robert Moses Causeway northbound span from Captree to Route 27A is closed about 5:30 AM to 2 PM (Suffolk police make the final call); southbound stays open, and the Wantagh Parkway is the way north. Cheer spots: the start, Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip before mile 4, and the finish. Saturday, October 17, brings a 5K trail run at 9 AM and a Kids 1K at 11 AM at Gardiner County Park, registration on the race site.
Drop in at the West Babylon Public Library Saturday, October 17, 11 AM to 1 PM to help at give-back stations; all are welcome, and teens can earn up to 2 hours of community service.
