Decorated boats parade down the Connetquot River at 5:30, then fireworks by Grucci at 7:30. Watching from the Snapper Inn's waterfront takes a prepaid reservation per car (it covers parking and a food and drink voucher); seating is first come, first served. Outdoor; no rain plan posted yet.
For Families in Islip this weekend: Country Village Halloween Parade at Marilynn Circle (Sunday 12:00PM).
The Country Village Beautification Society's costume parade from Marilynn Circle down Manistee, 12 to 3, with crafts, a costume contest, raffles, face painting, food and drinks. The organizers ask each family to register ahead on Eventbrite; donations welcome. Outdoor; no rain plan posted yet.
